Audit Log: Center Status Changes

With the Audit Log, sponsors have an organization-wide view of center status changes for their account. The audit log captures:

  • The center's name.
  • The center's original (old) status and their current (new) status.
  • When the center's status was changed.

Grant Permissions to Audit Log

Access to the Audit Log is controlled by permissions, so you can ensure that the right staff have access to monitor it.

  1. From the menu to the left, click Tools.
  2. Select Sponsor User Permissions.
  3. To add this permission to specific users:
    1. In the Users tab, use the columns to search for the user you need to update.
    2. Click accting-edit-inv-2 next to the user's name. The User Details page opens.
    3. Under the KidKare section, click slider-btn-Jun-27-2025-09-40-04-0672-PM next to View Audit Log. Your changes are saved automatically.
  1. To add this permission to a role:
    1. Click the Roles & Permissions tab.
    2. Click the User Roles drop-down menu and select the Role to update. To create a new role, click Add Role, then set permissions.
    3. Under the KidKare section, click slider-btn-Jun-27-2025-09-40-04-0672-PM next to View Audit Log. Your changes are saved automatically.

Viewing the Audit Log

Once you have appropriate permissions to do so, you can access the Audit Log under Administration to review center status changes for your organization.

  1. From the menu to the left, click Administration.
  2. Click Audit Log. The Audit Log page opens and displays centers with status changes. This page is filtered 
  3. Set filters to view different date ranges, specific centers, changes, or staff.
    • Center: Click the drop-down menu to search for and select specific centers to view.
    • Old Status: Click the drop-down to filter by the center's Old Status (their original status).
    • New Status: Click the drop-down to filter by the center's New Status(the status to which they were moved).
    • Effective Date: Click the calendar to clear the default date range and/or select a new date range. Once you select a new date range, click Done.
    • Changed By: Select the users to view.
  4. To export the audit log, click Download. An Excel file will download. The export honors filters you've set on the Audit Log table.
