Labor Log Administration

Note: You must have the Approve Staff Labor Logs permission enabled to access the Labor Log Administration page.

Once center staff approve their personal logs for the month, their log becomes available in Labor Log Administration. Here, center administrators can review employee time, make adjustments, if needed, and sign off on the reported time. 

  1. From the menu to the left, click Expenses.

  2. Click Labor Log Administration. The Labor Log Administration page opens. This page will always filter to the current claim month.

  3. Use the following columns to filter to the labor logs you need to review.
    1. Claim Month: Click the drop-down menu and select one or more claim months to view.
    2. Name: Begin typing an employee's name to filter to their log.
    3. Role: Begin typing the role name to filter by role.
    4. Status: Click the drop-down menu and choose Pending Review, Approved, or both.
  4. Click each column header to sort the displayed logs in ascending or descending order.
  5. Click a table row to open the log details. Here, you can review each day of the month, as well as take the following action:
    1. Edit: To make changes to an employee's log (usually by their request), click Edit and select the date to change. Click Save to save your changes.
    2. Download: Click Download to download an Excel® version of this report.
    3. Approve: Click Approve to approve the employee's log. Once approved, the log can no longer be edited.

Why can't I see the CACFP Claimable Costs?

To protect sensitive information, such as an employee's hourly wages, users must be granted the View/Manage Labor Details permission to see any wage-related information—including totals on individual labor logs.

This permission impacts both the Labor Log as viewed in KidKare and the Excel® download.
