[Guardian/Agency Portal](https://knowledge.kidkare.com/parachute-centers/guardian-agency-portal?hsLang=en-us) # Activity Log & Messages - Parent View Parachute allows your provider to send real time updates and messages to you about your child's day.  ### Activity Log The Activity Log is where you are able to view real time updates about your child's day sent to you by your provider.  - **Notifications:** When a new activity is logged by your provider you can receive notifications in multiple ways  - If you have Parachute downloaded to your mobile home screen ([you can find instructions here](https://knowledge.kidkare.com/parachute/getting-parents-started-with-parachute?hsLang=en-us#step-4---download-parachute-to-your-phone)), then you will receive a push notification whenever a new activity has been logged. ![IMG\_0560](https://knowledge.kidkare.com/hs-fs/hubfs/IMG_0560.png?width=202&height=438&name=IMG_0560.png) - - You can also choose to opt in or out of receiving text and email notifications. To update your preferences, go to the **Settings** section, click the ![General Edit Button](https://knowledge.kidkare.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Marketing-Sales/Parachute/General%20Edit%20Button.png?width=58&height=32&name=General%20Edit%20Button.png) button in the upper right corner, and select which types of notifications you’d like to receive—and whether you’d prefer them by email or text. - **Comments & Likes:** When you view the Activity Log you are able to comment and like posts.
