Sponsors of Homes

• Training Type Codes can now be marked Inactive so unused legacy codes stop cluttering the Training Types list and training/review dropdowns, while any historical records that already use them continue to show the same code name. 

• The Food Served by Week report now lists each infant's menu and the exact amount served separately, instead of adding the amounts together when several infants in the same age group were served the same foods.
  
  Each infant's entry is separated by dashes, so you can see, for example, three separate 6-ounce servings rather than a single 18-ounce total. Note: This applies only when the sponsor preference to record infant amounts served is turned on.
• Meals served too close together are now correctly flagged and disallowed on home provider claims. 
• Fixed a permission gap where a user with only View Access to Manage Child Tier could still change a child's Tier 1 income-eligibility checkbox, tier start and end dates, and tier comment. These tier fields are now locked unless the user has Full Access to Manage Child Tier.
• Vermont sponsors and providers can now exclude a helper's or assistant's school-age children from the provider's licensed capacity count during claim edit checks, so valid claims are no longer blocked by a false Error 104 (Over Capacity). Those children remain fully eligible for CACFP meal and snack reimbursement.
• The Providers Due Reviews report now shows the correct upcoming review due date after a review is completed, instead of continuing to display the previous review's due date. Existing incorrect dates on affected provider records have also been cleaned up.

Sponsors of Centers

• The Oklahoma FY2026–2027 Family-Size and Income Application and Enrollment Form, a complete 5-page packet that includes the Infant Provision Statement, the Letter to the Household, and both Instructions pages, is now available in for Oklahoma center sponsors. 

• The Child List Export in Reports > Children now shows only the children that match the status filter you selected, so removed or deleted children no longer appear as "Active" in your export. The export record count now matches what you see in Children > List Children for the same filter.
• Fixed an issue where changing the Bread/Alternate or Infant Cereal food on a Center Daily Menu left the previously entered serving amount and unit in place, which could cause the meal to be disallowed at claim time (Error 78) even after re-entering the amount. The system now clears the amount and unit when the new food uses a different serving unit, and displays a red banner indicating which component needs to be re-entered.
• Fixed the disallowed dollar amount on the Office Error Report so it now reflects each child's actual free, reduced, or paid meal rate instead of the center's blended participation percentages, giving sponsors an accurate disallowance total.
• The Milk Audit and the Required vs Served Meal Quantities Report now show matching milk totals when a child has a birthday during the month that moves them into a new age group.
• Language selections (English/Spanish) for a child's contacts now save correctly when edited from the Messages screen, and the guardian's login language updates to match. Previously the save appeared to succeed but the language never actually changed.
• When generating the California state POS upload file, Free, Reduced-Price, and Base Rate enrollment counts now combine across all license types within each program component (Child Care and School Age reported separately, as California requires), and the Number of Subsidized Participants field now reports your center's actual Title XX participant count instead of zero.

• Introducing Geolocation Enforcement for Home Reviews! Sponsors of Homes can now enforce geolocation tracking for Monitoring visits conducted through the KidKare online review tool. Geofencing Enforcement checks a monitor's device location against the provider's Current Physical Address the moment an online home review is opened. When the two don't match, the monitor documents why before continuing.
  
  Every discrepancy, reason cited, and comment logs to the Review Location Discrepancy Report, accessed directly from the Reports page in KidKare. This check is repeated when in-progress reviews are re-opened later.

• New permissions filed under Beacon Verify for both homes and centers allow sponsor admins to grant or deny access to the Portfolio and Executive dashboards per user or role. Users granted access to Beacon Verify may also be limited to their assigned caseload only.

• Caseload filtering now allows users to quickly view the sites to which they are assigned.
• We have added filtering for users who may see all centers that allows them to filter the sites viewed by an assigned Monitor or Claims Processor.

• The Florida Income Eligibility Form (IEF) has been updated to the state's revised 7/2026 version in both English and Spanish, so you'll now see the current form when printing or sharing household income applications.
• When you evaluate and save an income eligibility application for a child, the updated IEF expiration and enrollment expiration dates now carry over to that child's siblings as well, so every sibling record shows the correct current dates instead of the old ones.
• For Texas center sponsors, the electronic Income Eligibility Form now lets families who select SNAP, TANF, or FDPIR list all enrolled children and household members instead of jumping straight to the signature page. It also asks for the EDG# (validated as 8 or 9 digits per HHSC) instead of a generic case number, and no longer auto-checks the "I do not have a Social Security number" box on the printed form. Texas sponsors using the standard form and all non-Texas sponsors are unaffected.
• For Hybrid ARAS Programs, walk-in children now stay on your Attendance & Meal Counts roster from day to day, making it easy to find repeat walk-ins who come back occasionally without being fully enrolled. Walk-ins with no recorded attendance for 120 days will drop off the roster automatically, and existing roster filters continue to work as they do today.
  
  

• Renewed enrollment forms (IEF and Enrollment Forms) can now be opened and printed from eForms. Previously, clicking a child's renewed form took you to a blank Reports page with nothing to print.

• Fixed an issue on Provider Management > Provider Information > Other tab where the "Documentation on File" section would not appear unless all three of the Dinner, Saturday, and Sunday documentation policies were turned on. Each policy now independently controls its own checkbox, so you can mark Saturday or Sunday documentation on a provider's record without also enabling Dinner.
• Fixed an issue where the Itemized Detail line on printed and PDF Direct Deposit forms showed only the Tier 1 amount for providers with both Tier 1 and Tier 2 claim amounts. The Itemized Detail now shows the combined Tier 1 + Tier 2 total, matching the Total Claim Payments amount in the Check Summary.
• Fixed an issue where meals served too close together — such as an AM snack and lunch only 60 minutes apart — were not being flagged with an insufficient-time error during claim processing, even when the sponsor's Processor Time Checks were set to disallow. These closely spaced meals are now correctly caught and disallowed.
• The Claimed Attendance Detail report can now be run for all providers at once. Previously it would take around 15 minutes and then fail with an error. It now finishes in a few seconds with the same results.
• Clicking "Use Provider's Address" on a child's record no longer erases the parent's Primary and Secondary Phone numbers. It now fills in the provider's phone numbers, and if the provider has no phone number on file, the parent's existing numbers are left as-is.
• Monitors can now see and set the "Shift(s) Observed" (First/Second) option when completing an online provider review, just like they can in Minute Menu HX and on manual reviews.
• Fixed an issue where sponsors of homes could not renew a child's enrollment from Children > Renew Child Enrollments — clicking Renew Enrollments returned a generic error message and no enrollments in the batch were renewed.

Sponsored Homes

• Fixed an issue where hiding the left navigation panel in KidKare left an invisible strip along the left edge of the screen that blocked taps and clicks, preventing home providers from recording in/out times for children shown in the left column. With the panel hidden, all items in that area are now fully clickable on computers and tablets.

• When downloading a scanned form from the Fix Imported Errors screen after importing attendance, you now always receive the exact form that the error row came from, with matching dates. Previously, forms scanned in the same batch could overwrite each other, so downloading a form for one week could return a different week's Attendance and Meal Count Sheet.

• We have corrected an issue impacting service access to the Minute Menu HX  desktop application. This update requires a mandatory update to Minute Menu HX. Users will be prompted to update the application upon opening it. 
  
  The updated HX application requires Windows 10 or later. If your computer runs an earlier version of Windows, you will not be able to use Minute Menu HX after the mandatory update. You can view the complete system requirements for Minute Menu HX here.
