We have updated the Virginia Adult Enrollment Forms to the 2025 version.
![]()
- When marking an IEF application as "Incomplete" in a child's Oversight tab, the Free and Reduced Price (FRP) eligibility reason will now correctly display "Incomplete" instead of incorrectly defaulting to "Other."
- The Infants Max Capacity field is no longer required when managing information for adult care centers, bringing KidKare in line with the expected behavior for those programs.
- Gallons (gal) and fluid ounces (oz) are now available again as unit options when recording quantities for Juice items under the Fruit component in the Record Menu.
- Foods were not being removed from Food Rules when some sponsors attempted to remove them.
- For some users, children were getting stuck in Pending/Withdrawn status.
- The Times Vary and At-Risk sliders were hidden from the Child Schedule section of Manage Child Information. These have both been restored.
- When a $0 income form was entered in eForms, or when a child's IEF was updated to show $0 income, the error message Eligibility is Only Good for 45 Days displayed incorrectly.
- We updated eForms to use a more generic message when prompting a parent/guardian to indicate if they are under a qualifying assistance program when completing their IEF.
- Non-ARAS children were being allowed at Evening Snack, even though Evening Snack was only approved as an At-Risk meal.
- The Hide Photo option on the Center Daily Attendance/Meal Counts page was not working properly. Photos should now be hidden when this option is set to Yes.
- The sponsor Agreement Number was not populating on the Enrollment Form.

- Fixed an issue where the blank child enrollment form incorrectly pre-selected "No" for the Food Allergies field. The field now appears blank by default so staff can make the appropriate selection when completing the form.
- The center name now appears on Virginia Income Eligibility Forms (IEF) for both Child Care and Adult Care programs, making it easier to identify which center a form belongs to.

- The Menu Production Record (MPR) now correctly displays "Actual Qty Served" instead of "Actual Qty Prepared," making the label consistent with the wording shown on the Individual Infant Feeding Screen and Daily Menu Screen throughout KidKare.
- Fixed an issue where the Weekly Quantities Required report was not displaying the correct required food quantities for infants when a meal had actual attendance recorded only for non-infants but estimated attendance for infants, causing infant food requirements to appear blank or missing.
- Fixed an issue where users were being redirected to Home when attempting to access the Delete Child feature.

- Homes sponsors can now consolidate multiple claims processing reports into a single PDF at once, with new options to group, sort, and drag-and-drop reorder the reports before generating — eliminating the need to print each report type separately.
- Fixed an issue where the Age column was missing from the printed version of the List Children report, even though it appeared correctly on screen. The printed report now matches what is displayed on the List Children page.

- Fixed an issue where center numbers with leading zeros would lose those zeros after saving and refreshing the Manage Center Information page. Leading zeros now display correctly in the Center Info section.
- The County column in the Duplicate Children Claimed report was being cut off and is now fully visible, with text wrapping properly so no information is hidden.
- Fixed an issue where filtering by Date of Birth on the List Children page was not returning any results. Sponsors can now successfully use the Date of Birth filter to search for children as expected.
- Fixed an issue where advancing the claim month with the Automatically Withdrawn Expired Enrollments box checked, the system was only withdrawing children if their enrollment expiration date was 2 months ahead.
- Fixed an issue where saving a child's information after navigating from the List Children, Active Children, or Renew Child Enrollments screens could cause data to be saved incorrectly. Child information now saves correctly regardless of how users arrive at the Manage Child Information screen.

- Fixed an issue where meal records did not correctly save the associated Master Menu or Cycle Menu template when recording a provider meal. Menu selections are now properly linked to saved meal records.
- Fixed an issue in the Provider Review section where two "Complete" buttons were displayed at the same time on the Finalize tab. Now only one button appears as expected.
- Sponsor users can now correctly view and edit infant menus for dates prior to a child's first birthday. Previously, the regular menu was displayed instead of the infant menu for those earlier dates.
- KidKare now displays a confirmation prompt when a child's enrollment date is changed, asking whether the date was entered in error — matching the alert behavior already in place in HX.
- Louisiana sponsors and providers will now correctly receive the LDOE (Louisiana Department of Education) enrollment form when printing from a child's profile in KidKare for Homes Online, instead of the generic USDA enrollment form.
- The Last Login Date displayed for providers in Observer Mode and Support Tools now shows the correct local time instead of an incorrect timestamp, eliminating confusion for sponsors reviewing provider activity.
- Fixed an intermittent error that occurred when sponsor staff tried to send messages with PDF attachments to home daycare providers. Messages with attachments can now be sent successfully.
- Fixed an issue where the Remote Review field was incorrectly defaulting to "Yes" on provider reviews, even when the question was left unanswered or hidden. The field now accurately reflects whether the reviewer explicitly selected "Yes," and previously affected review records have been corrected.
- Fixed an issue in Support Tools where switching between sponsors could display the wrong providers list. Sponsor search results have also been significantly improved in speed.
- A pop-up message that previously appeared when generating a WINS State Claim Upload File in Washington has been removed, allowing users to complete the process without interruption.
- Fixed an issue where the Quick Links button was missing from Provider Information when the provider record was accessed directly from List Providers.
- Fixed an issue where entering more than 255 characters in the Special Diet Notes field and clicking Save would silently delete all entered text. The Save button is now disabled and a message is displayed when the character limit is exceeded, preventing any loss of information.
- Fixed an issue where sorting by Date on the List Claims page was not sorting correctly.
- Updated the re-tiering workflow so that the pop-up window closes once saving is complete.
- Fixed an issue that caused the Sponsor Review Worksheet to default to the wrong month.
- Fixed an issue where the Next Review Due date was not honoring sponsor settings when users completed reviews via the KidKare Review Tool.
- Fixed an issue that was causing the Claimed Foods and Attendance report to generate incorrectly.
- Fixed an issue that was causing sections of printed checks to bleed into each other.
