  • Email and text notifications from the KidKare status page now include incident details in the email body so you no longer have to click through to a link. We've also updated the format for these messages to be easier-to-read and the link to the Status Page is now a simple link instead of the longer URL included before.  You'll also now receive a notification when an incident is resolved — something that was never sent before.

  • West Virginia school area data has been updated with the SY 2026-2027 percent needy figures.

Fixed

  • When you print or re-print a check, the dollar amount shown in the amount box now always matches the written-out amount on the check. The check stub also now lists every claim included on the check, with accurate Own Child and Non-Claim Payment amounts.
  • Some sponsors were unable to export their food lists. We have corrected this so clicking Export on the Food list page returns the food list instead of failing.
  • Fixed the Messages screen so searching now returns matching messages instead of coming up empty, and setting the Provider filter to "All Providers" now shows every message in your date range.
  • Fixed an issue that was causing the Provider list Export file to fail under certain conditions.
  • The Remote Review field was missing from Past Review History on the Sponsor Review Worksheet. This has been corrected.
  • Fixed an issue where, upon re-opening a saved review, children whose status had changed since the visit were not displaying correctly on the review record. Children now appear on past reviews exactly as recorded.
  • On the Texas H1607 Monitoring Review report, the Section B. Meal Service question #3 now prints the Yes/No answer the monitor recorded instead of leaving the checkbox blank. Previously completed reviews also print correctly when reprinted.
  • Fixed an error where Sponsor Codes were not saving successfully after changes were made.
  • The Time Recvd column on the Homes Track Received Claims screen now shows the correct received time year round, with a CST or CDT label that matches the time of year. Previously, from mid-March through early November, times displayed one hour earlier than they actually were.

Sponsors of Centers

  • Sponsors who manage ARAS/SFSP open enrolled centers can now enter a center's meal counts and attendance for an entire month at once on a new Monthly ARAS/SFSP Entry screen, instead of entering claim information day by day. The screen is turned on with new policy L.12 and is available to sponsor staff with the Process/Edit Claims permission.
  • When you recalculate a child's Income Eligibility Form on the Oversight tab, KidKare now asks whether to update the child's record with the new results. Answering Yes updates the child's IEF expiration date (along with FRP category, eligibility, and qualifying program), so the red Income Eligibility Form will expire alert clears as expected.
  • Sponsors can now turn on a new policy M02a — Skip menu-missing edit check for open-enrolled ARAS/SFSP centers so claims for open-enrolled ARAS/SFSP centers are no longer flagged with Error 16 (no foods served while children were in attendance) when those centers aren't required to record menus in KidKare. The policy defaults to N and leaves menu checks in place for traditional centers.
  • Texas center sponsors now complete and print the current TDA review form H1606 (March 2026) instead of the retired H1616 (May 2018), including 13 new questions and updated wording in the online review. A new blank, printable H1606-AT form for At-Risk Afterschool sites is also available under Report > Reviews.
  • Parents can now enter food allergy information directly on the enrollment eForm, using a "My child has food allergies" Yes/No question with a field to list the allergies when Yes is selected. Sponsor/center staff no longer have to add allergy information to the child's profile by hand after a form is submitted.

Fixed

  • Children you've deleted from List Children no longer appear on the Assign Classrooms page. The Assign Classrooms list now matches List Children for the same center, including record counts and paging.
  • Invalid birth dates were preventing eForms from being Renewed after sponsor approval, which also prevented them from being cancelled or resent to the parent for corrections.
  • When you opened an online review that wasn't yet Validated, the fields still let you type but there was no Save button and no warning when you left — so anything you typed was quietly lost. Those fields are now properly locked on both the Homes and Centers review screens, making it clear the review can't be edited until it's Validated.
  • Fixed an issue where a center could stay locked out of entering meals and attendance for a claim month even after the sponsor had removed the claim. 
  • Fixed an issue where classroom changes made through the Renew Child Enrollments page were not updating the classroom on the Child Roster, Weekly attendance and meal counts reporting, and the Attendance & Meal Counts pages.

  • Fixed an issue where the actual quantities a center entered for meals were being replaced with the required (expected) amounts. Served quantities now stay exactly as entered

  • Fixed an issue where a provider's password on the Provider Information screen changed to a new random value each time staff navigated away from the provider's record and back. Passwords now stay the same while browsing between providers and only change when someone explicitly resets them.
