Whether you're moving from one software to another or just getting started with Parachute for the first time, here is everything you need to know to make sure you have access to all of the tools Parachute has to offer
Step 1 - Create your Parachute Account
- In order to gain access to Parachute you will need to first create your account. You can find step by step instructions on how to do this here.
Step 2 - Manage Payment Methods & Invoices
- If your provider is using Parachute to invoice for your child's care then you will need to make sure you've stored a valid payment method in your Parent Portal. You can learn more about how to do this here. You can learn more about how to manage your invoices here.
Step 3 - Add your Attendance Phone Number & Pin
- If your provider is using our attendance features then you will need to make sure to add your phone number and any other required information to properly sign your child in or out. You can find more details on how to do this here.
Step 4 - Download Parachute to your Phone
This step is not required, but will allow you to easily access Parachute from your phone's home's screen, as well as receive push notifications for any messages, activity updates, or reminders from your provider.
You can add Parachute to your home screen using any mobile browser, but Chrome offers the easiest and most straightforward experience if it’s available.
- Log into Parachute from your Mobile Browser. From here you should see a pop up instructing you on how to save Parachute to your home screen
- Upon clicking
you will be given the option to Add to Home Screen, highlighted below in red
- From here you will be prompted to "Add" Parachute. Once saved you can access Parachute at any time by clicking the icon
